Welcome to the 2018 Professional Improvement Meeting & Administrative Conference Registration Site.  This event runs August 27 – 30, 2018.

Important Registration Dates & Fees

Early Bird Registration: May 4 - June 29: $350

Regular Registration: June 30 – July 27: $400

Late Registration: July 28 – August 10: $450

All registration fees must be postmarked or received by August 13, 2018. An additional $25 fee will be charged after the deadline has passed.  Additional fees may be charged for on-site.

All attendees, including Extension faculty, presenters, those with displays, and administrators, must register and pay registration fees. You must register to attend meetings and/or receive awards. The daily registration fee without meals has been reduced to $25.

The Dean’s office is graciously providing $350.00 to County & State Faculty attending this year’s conference. You must complete a TA and be present for all Wednesday and Thursday meals, sessions, and IST tours to receive the $350.00. State faculty should ask your fiscal staff to contact Keith Gouin at keithg@ufl.edu for a budget transfer. Funding will come to your department as 103-3300-CYFWD.

The EPAF Board has instituted a $100 Facilities Fee to encourage everyone to stay at the conference hotel. Before completing your on-line registration form, you must have a Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa EPAF block guest registration confirmation number. The only attendees exempt from the facilities fee are those that: have a hotel confirmation number, choose Daily Registration only, or have an office within 50 miles of the resort.  One of these three items must be completed on the registration page to avoid having the fees added to your invoice.  Do not attempt to use other discounts or rewards as it will nullify you being placed in the EPAF block and will cause the facilities fee to be charged.  Do not use another person’s confirmation number to register.  Be sure all those sharing a room use the same number and appear on the reservation.

Wednesday afternoon will be off-site IST Tours (bus transportation will be provided).  All full-time attendees are expected to attend. You must register for these tours through PDEC, not on this site.

NOTE: There will be no boxed lunch provided on the way out Thursday.  Please drop name tags in the boxes/bins provided and have a safe trip.

Steps to Register:

  1. Review the agenda
  2. Make your Hotel reservation and secure a confirmation number:
    1. Please click here or call (800) 457-4653 as soon as possible to insure the $109 plus $25/day resort fee for a total of $134/day rate. Early hotel reservation (before June 29th) is highly recommended to secure the conference hotel at the EPAF rate. Please note: Your hotel reservation will show a rate of $109/day, a daily resort fee of $25 per day will be added upon arrival. Please make sure this is taken into account if paying by check. If you are tax exempt, the tax certificate must match the check or credit card payment method. Personal checks or personal credit cards will not be accepted with a county or state tax exemption certificate.
  3. Complete the EPAF Conference Registration – please read all instructions first to avoid over charging yourself or missing important questions.
  4. Click here to register for one EPAF IST Tour through PDEC.
  5. County faculty must complete a PeopleSoft TA using Chartfield number: 60357000-103-3300-CYFWD
  6. Annie Sheldon (aasheldon@ufl.edu) is the EPAF Registration Chair if you have any questions.  Please do not submit more than one registration for an individual.  If you feel an error was made or it did not go through, contact Annie for verification.

Refunds & Cancellation Policy:

Conference registrations may be cancelled without a penalty through 11:59pm August 10, 2018. After that date, all cancellations will be charged a fee of $220.

No refunds will be granted after the conference begins!
