Welcome to the 2017 Professional Improvement Meeting & Administrative Conference Registration Site.  This event runs August 28 – 31, 2017.

Important Registration Dates & Fees

Early Bird Registration: April 17 - June 15: $350

Regular Registration: June 16 –July 31: $400

Late Registration: August 1 – August 11: $450

All registration fees must be postmarked or received by August 18, 2017. An additional $25 fee will be charged after the deadline has passed.  Additional fees may be charged for on-site.

All attendees, including Extension faculty, presenters, those with displays, and administrators, must register and pay registration fees. You must register to attend meetings and/or receive awards. The daily registration fee without meals has been reduced to $25.

The Dean’s office is graciously providing $350.00 to County & State Faculty attending this year’s conference. You must complete a TA and be present for all Wednesday and Thursday meals and sessions to receive the $350.00. State faculty should ask your fiscal staff to contact Keith Gouin at keithg@ufl.edu for a budget transfer. Funding will come to your department as 103-3300-CYFWD.

The EPAF Board has instituted a $100 Facilities Fee to encourage everyone to stay at the conference hotel using the EPAF room block which provides meeting facilities and space for the annual meeting. Before completing your on-line registration form, you must have a Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort & Spa EPAF block guest registration confirmation number. The only attendees exempt from the fee are those that either: have a confirmation number, choose Daily Registration only, or have an office within 50 miles of the resort.  One of these three items must be completed on the registration page to avoid having the fees added to your invoice.  Do not attempt to use other discounts or rewards as it will nullify you being placed in the EPAF block and will cause the facilities fee to be charged.  Do not use another person’s confirmation number to register.  Be sure all those sharing a room use the same number and appear on the reservation.

Monday evening requires bus transportation to our opening session and dinner. These buses will load at approximately 5:00pm for a 5:15pm departure.  All fees are included in registration fees. HOWEVER, you must specifically indicate attendance on your registration where it asks, “Will you be attending Monday night’s opening session” at the Edison and Ford Museum. 

Wednesday is an all-inclusive field trip day to Babcock Ranch Sustainable Solar City.  All full time attendees are expected to attend.  After lunch, we will break into program areas and depart for tours.  You must register for these tours through PDEC, not on this site. All are expected to choose one tour for the day.  Cross referencing will be done to assist so no one is left behind.

NOTE: There will be no boxed lunch provided on the way out Thursday.  Please drop name tags in the boxes/bins provided and have a safe trip.


Steps to Register:

  2. Make your Hotel reservation and secure a confirmation number:
    1. Please click here to book your hotel reservation as soon as possible to insure the $139 group rate. Once the EPAF room block at the Sanibel Harbour Mariott has been reached, the group rate will not be available. The EPAF Board is not responsible if hotel room rates increase due to registration after July 31, 2017. Early hotel registration (before June 16th ) is highly recommended to secure the conference hotel at the EPAF rate of $139.00 + applicable taxes. If you are tax exempt, the tax certificate must match the check or credit card payment method. Personal checks or personal credit cards will not be accepted with a county or state tax exemption certificate.
  3. Complete the EPAF Conference Registration – please read all instructions first to avoid over charging yourself or missing important questions.
  4. In-Service Training Workshops that will be held at EPAF will be announced at a later date.  IST registration will be separate from EPAF registration and requires participants to attend Wednesday’s field trip.  All IST buses will leave from the field trip site.

Refunds & Cancellation Policy:

Conference registrations may be cancelled without a penalty through 11:59pm August 11, 2017. After that date, all cancellations will be charged a fee of $220.

No refunds will be granted after the conference begins!
